What's the rush?

why are people getting married so young...no ceremony...and now no dress...what is the rush!?!? i understand people fall in love...i just don't understand why they can't wait till they can afford a ceremony, a gown, flowers, and the ability to rent a fabulous place to gather their friends, family and loved ones to celebrate their love TOGETHER! why is this suddenly a race to the finish line...since when is marriage something you do in a courthouse without telling anyone??? insurance purposes? SOMETHING??? any reason why this happens and i don't get to dress up for an actual wedding cermony??? please let me know because i just don't understand and won't until someone explains it to me!!!

Can guys and girls JUST be friends???

the question that everyone seems to have their own answer to...some say yes...some say no...others madly search for something to change the subject to or just laugh and continue talking about whatever the conversation used to be about.

what do i say on the matter? i say it's possible...but not likely...on the rare occassion that you find a girl and a guy that are friends i think, more often than not, at least one of the two feels a little inkling more than friendly feelings for the other. i'm not trying to be pessimistic...don't get me wrong! i'm just saying that from my view...when i meet a guy that i like enough to want to hang out with again than it's most likely that i like him more than a friend! it's not a bad thing people! however it does mean a lot of heartache for those unlucky ones who are on the receiving side of the friendly feelings in a relationship...

i myself have been on both sides...there's the guys you can only see as your friends which means either...not cute enough...not sweet enough...or just the right amount of goofy that there's no way you could imagine them as your hubby to be in the future...then of course there's the guys that you think are just too cute and adorable but they only see you as a friend...

now i wouldn't bring it up except for i recently just "re"discovered a guy that i used to see as more than a friend but now he's engaged...that's right...basically wearing a sandwich board that says "TAKEN"...so now i'm in a situation where all i've known of this guy is being more than friends and now he calls me up as if we're friends and always have been...what's a girl to do??? i feel anxious cuz i'm not sure if i can look at him and tiny every time his fiance calls and he tells her i'm there...

so i ask the question again...what's a girl to do??? and more importantly what am i supposed to do??? :) do i keep hanging out with him being terrified that i'll do something wrong and his super jealous fiance will think i'm trying to steal him??? or do i just forget about it and tell him i can't deal with the situation cuz being friends with guys (ESPECIALLY those with girlfriends, fiances, or wives) is just too difficult??? single girls get all the guff cuz everyone assumes we're hitting on someone elses man! it's just too hard to be friends with a guy now-a-days!!!

any feedback on the matter or good stories to tell? :)

nice guys...do they really finish last?

alright so the big debate of nice guys ending up with the short straw every time...

do they really finish last or is the relationship just not meant to be? too nice is too much, but i don't believe a truly nice guy ever really finishes last...i just haven't met mine yet :)

"The Chase"

what is it about "the chase" that turns girls on so much??? Is it the fact that the guy doesn't like you...or that you have to pull every string in the book to get them to notice you AT ALL??? oh oh I KNOW it's the pain and suffering you have to go through to put your name on the map and how you go out of your way in everything you do for them and they don't even know it?

so once the guy likes you...he treats you well...you finally got what you've been chasing after and going through hell for...now what? we do what everyone does...

FIND NEW PREY!!! ;)

girls are so smart!!! when will the madness end???

Does it always have to be all or nothing?

Do you ever find yourself with absolutely no love life to speak of...not even any interests and then all of the sudden in the same day every possible guy from your past gets in touch with you?

If you're not in a relationship or any love interest what-so-ever no one's interested but the second someone is in the picture everyone else wants some as well?

Is it just the fact that they can't have you anymore or is it someone telling you that there's more out there...don't settle!
